As the website grows we will have more news of what we are up to, when we are doing interviews and especially new and up to date information on autism. For any questions please contact us.

More and more research is coming up in the last couple of years with some really interesting news on autism - here is a link to Autistic Children Have More Brain Cells.

Three years ago BFKbooks reviewed Robert Hughes book Running With Walker and interviewed him about Walker.

For a couple of years I have been in email contact with Graeme Croton and published several articles by him on this website as well as his first chapter of his autobiography on our book website www.bfkbooks.com. Here though he has made it onto YouTube and there is a close up of his www.bfkautism.com article on his computor as part of the You Tube video.

Over the weekend I recieved some really exciting news, and that is - The Autism File is on Sky TV 166 and shown at different times during the week. I've seen the first one and I have to say - it's pretty good and very very informative.
For more info you can go to www.information.tv to find out the schedule.
The Autsim File is also on Freesat 402. This is a very welcome programme for parent with autistic children and for adults who themselves are on the autistic spectrum.

The Disabilities Trust in Spring are going to be going into a London prison to conduct research to find out how many prisoners are on and who needs help with it.

I've just heard from Graeme Croton who's written a couple of articles, and also the 1st chapter of his book for us.

Anna Van Der Post who wrote 'Children and Teenagers with Asperger's Syndrome' sent me the following post.

On Thursday 17th June 2010 I went with my daughter Gen to a Q&A event hosted by The Autism File in which Dr Andrew Wakefield would be taking questions from those at the event and also from the internet - as the event was being streamed live.
An article will be following about what happened - meeting and talking with one of the Lancet 12 mothers and meeting Dr Andrew Wakefield who I will be doing an email interview about his book Callous Disregard later on.

On Monday 21st June 2010 I will be interviewing Peter James about his latest book Dead Like You, but especially about his character Yac who in the story is on the autistic spectrum.
